Within a very short period of time CIVI, known in our hometown as "CIFSBO" (Central Illinois For Sale By Owner) became one of the most successful internet-based services for advertising properties for sale-by-owner. Our customers have been champions and promoters of our services, and we sincerely appreciate and thank our customers for our success.

As we started expanding across Illinois and into other states, our logo was changed and a new web address - http://www.fsbolocal.com was introduced to reflect our growth and commitment to customer service in any location serviced by CIVI: our reach is now far beyond central Illinois.

Customer service has been a primary goal of CIVI from day one. We do our best to provide advertising value and services that develop and maintain the trust of our customers. Our goal will always be to provide low-cost and effective advertising services, where home owners can advertise, with exposure far superior to other available media. There is significant value to buyers, too, as quality pictures and detailed information will help buyers determine their interest quickly. Our company is NOT a commission-based real estate brokerage service and is NOT owned or controlled by a real estate broker charging on a percentage commission basis. CIVI customers pay a flat advertisement fee for a set time, with low-cost renewal terms, if they need to extend their ad. Buyers will not be re-routed by our website to a commissioned sales person: your contact through this website will be directly with the property owner.
